Dear Parents/Carers,
It was very disappointing to have to cancel our sports day at the very last minute. Unfortunately, due to the amount of rain we had, it left the field very slippery. Therefore, we have arranged a new date - fingers crossed for some dry weather! On a positive note, is was fantastic to see all of those who turned up to our Summer Fayre. It was a great success and we managed to raise a fantastic amount. Thank you to everyone who came and supported school. It is with your support, that we can manage to provide the all important extras for your children. As you can see, we have a change of staff. I would like to wish Mrs Bedworth and Mr Pepper all the very best for their futures and thank them for their hard work and dedication to the children. Next week is Open Evening. This is in place of a parents' evening and is an opportunity to have a look at your child's work from this year and see for yourself the amazing progress they have made. Children's reports will be sent out next week. Many thanks, Jon Stevens.
It is that time of year when we will be saying goodbye to some members of staff and welcome to others!
Mrs Bedworth and Mr Pepper will both be leaving us at the end of this term. We wish them well in their new roles.
Joining us in September, we have two new teachers. Miss Watt, who will be teaching in Reception and Miss Noke who will be teaching in Key Stage 1. We welcome them both to Bromley Hills.
We are offering a couple of free taster sessions for parents/carers who would like to find out more about how to use ICT with their child. Mr Hussian, who teaches IPad club for the children, is a tutor for Family Learning in Dudley, and teaches sessions to both adults and children in other schools. The taster sessions will run on a Wednesday afternoon, starting on Wednesday 5th July, 1.30pm. If you are interested, please let the office know.

Our Pre-School children and their parents/carers went on a trip to Dudley Zoo for a special under 5's day to celebrate the zoo's 80th birthday. Although the weather was a little wet there were still lots of activities for the children to enjoy. Everyone was entertained by Dippy the Clown and we had some very special visitors from 'Paw Patrol'. Everyone had a wonderful time looking at all of the animals and sharing the day with friends.
